Wow, amazing to leave big bay..melkbos duynefontein (afrikaans for Milkbush dune fountain) is further up the west coast, and the first thing you notice is the brilliant white sand and turqouise waters with next to zero people - thanks to it being a secret spot and a big sign saying "no lifegaurds on duty" - so no monkeys if ya know what i mean.
This place always has bigger swell. waves were cranking at about 4-6foot and big enough so that u had to jump over them..wind picked up strong so didn't do any technical stuff, just got big air.

i think this is my favourite beach for kiting in the southern hemisphere!

heard from italian mate Miqualy that a gorgeous french girl broke her pelvis yesterday because of a freak gust..also some good guy was practicing HP's in shallow water in shark bay langebaan and he broke his knee..sheez kak one !! Talk about bad timing and HARSH. Makes me chill a bit more on the water..
